Soo Many Questions....

Many people have been asking me a lot of questions lately..... about life and love and just about everything else!! I love to try and help people out with any of their problems, but sometimes I don't know what to say. And I certainly don't have all the answers.
Here is some of what I have been discussing with some close female friends..... its mostly about love.

Love.

I've always been so puzzled by it. And it seems to baffle the entire world.

Are we supposed to understand love.... are we supposed to know true love... are we supposed to just accept love..... is there such a thing as true love?

How is it possible to love someone without ever meeting them? How is it possible to fall in love with an idea of a person?

Why are we afraid to love?
Why are we so oblivious to others feelings, thoughts, and actions when it comes to love.
Why do so many try to hid their love.... why not just confess? How can you say you love me when you hardly even know me? Do you even know what love is?

Why do we lie about love.... even when we don't think about it. Its like an automatic response. Like a defense mechanism that is built in. Like a wall we keep around ourselves. Like a shield.

What does it really mean to love.... what does it really mean to be loved.....

1 John 4:7-12 says:

"(7)Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. (8)Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. (9)This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. (10)This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. (11)Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. (12)No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us."

Jesus is Love! God showed us love through Jesus... God showed us Himself through Jesus. Without God we are nothing.
